Prompt Too Task Chair

A full synchronous task chair with a choice of upholstered or mesh back – Prompt Too pairs a full synchromatic mechanism with integrated forward tilt, free-flow recline and an adjustable tension control wheel. It is specified for office and home-office users who sit for extended periods and want the chair to move with them rather than hold them still.

The adjustments that change posture, included as standard – A 70 mm sliding seat sets seat depth to leg length, the backrest adjusts for height, and seat tilt is included rather than charged for. On the upholstered backs the chair is rated to a 150 kg user weight, above the 110 kg typical of standard office seating.

Built for people who sit six hours a day or more – the adjustments on Prompt Too are the ones that change posture: seat height, seat depth, backrest height and recline resistance. Cold-moulded polyurethane foam is used on the seat and, on upholstered models, the backrest. Upholstery is applied without adhesives.

• Pneumatic seat height adjustment: 41–54 cm upholstered, 40–52 cm mesh — set feet flat with a neutral knee angle

• Sliding seat depth (70 mm): 42–49 cm upholstered, 40–47 cm mesh — clears the back of the knee while keeping full thigh support

• Height-adjustable backrest: aligns the lumbar curve of the backrest to your own

• Adjustable torsion control: a tension wheel sets how much resistance the recline offers

• Integrated forward tilt: present on both the upholstered and mesh backs

• Free-flow recline: move with the chair, or set the backrest where you want it

Prompt Too is specified by upholstery group. Groups 1 to 3 are hard-wearing upholstery fabrics, groups 4 and 5 are performance and wool-rich fabrics, and group 6 is leather. Your specific fabric within the chosen group is confirmed with you after you order.

On mesh models the seat is upholstered from your chosen group and the mesh backrest is specified separately.
