Who it suits – A high-back operator chair for home offices and team fit-outs that need simple, repeatable controls, with a 2:1 synchronised recline and a floating lumbar and pelvic support that moves with you. It is rated for users up to 150 kg.
Synchronised recline with floating lumbar support, at a genuine everyday price point – The K22 is a high-back ergonomic chair built for versatile workspace fitouts and everyday professional use, combining a 2:1 synchronised recline mechanism with floating lumbar and pelvic support (available with a mesh or fabric seat, and an optional ergonomic headrest).
Rated to 150kg and specified for use up to 24 hours a day – K22 carries a 10-year manufacturer's warranty in single-shift use (up to 8 hours a day), reducing to 5 years for continuous use (more than 8 hours a day). It features a single-paddle lever control for seat height and dynamic movement, direct tension control calibrated for users from 51kg to 149kg, and multifunctional armrests with soft-touch pads that can be removed entirely.

Straightforward controls built for consistent, correct use across an organisation – K22's pictorial button layout is designed so adjustment stays intuitive whoever is sitting in it, and easy to repeat through a working day.
- Seat height (lift): Sit on the seat and pull the lift lever to set your feet flat with knees near a 90° angle
- Seat slide (depth): Lift the slide button and adjust so there's a 20–40mm gap behind the knees
- Tilt tension control: Pull out and turn the mechanism to set neutral resistance for your weight, or leave unlocked for free-float dynamic movement
- Back height: Lift the back of the chair until you hear it click into your preferred position; lift to full height and drop to release
- Ergonomic headrest (where fitted): Tilt, lift or lower to your preferred position

Is the K22 suitable for a 10-hour working day?
For the warranty, Hood Seating counts more than 8 hours a day as continuous use. On the K22 that means a 5-year warranty at 10 hours a day, rather than the 10 years that applies to single-shift use of up to 8 hours. The seat height, tension, back height and arms all adjust, so you can reset the chair through a long day.
What weight is it rated to?
Users up to 150 kg, and the tension control is calibrated for users from 51 kg to 149 kg. The seat is 500 mm wide and 500 mm deep, and the seat height adjusts from 440 to 530 mm.
What warranty does it have?
10 years in single-shift use (up to 8 hours a day); 5 years for continuous use (more than 8 hours a day). We coordinate any claim for you.

You can return an item for a change of mind within 14 days of delivery. Return collection charges apply to change-of-mind returns, except on Hood F94, K22 and C19 chairs bought in a Fast Track option: we collect those at no charge, and an unused one can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
