Toleo Task Chair

A backrest that twists as well as reclines – Toleo's backrest support allows torsional movement, letting the back rotate to the left and right as you sit rather than only tilting back. The movement comes from the composite backrest support itself — there are no springs or mechanical joints added to produce it.

Certified to 150 kg and for 24-hour use – Toleo carries a GS safety certificate rated to 150 kg and BS 5459-2, the British Standard covering severe heavy-duty and 24-hour use seating. It runs a full synchromatic mechanism with integrated forward tilt, a four-position lock and sliding seat depth adjustment.

Movement in three planes, not one – Most task chairs recline on a single axis. Toleo adds lateral rotation through the backrest support, so the chair follows a twist or a reach rather than resisting it. Seat and backrest use cold-moulded polyurethane foam, applied without adhesives.
