Newback Mesh Task Chair

Reduced to the parts that do the work – Newback is built around an organically formed, exceptionally durable back frame carrying a mesh panel, with the seat chassis and backrest frame both in polyamide. At 13 kg it is one of the lightest full-specification task chairs available, without giving up mechanism quality.

An automatic mechanism that sets itself – The synchro-mechanism responds to bodyweight automatically, with an additional fine-tuning control for anyone who wants to adjust it further. Adjustable seat depth and an upright lock with a three-position tilt limiter are included as standard.

Support from the frame geometry rather than added bulk – Newback's mesh back is tensioned across a shaped polyamide frame, so support comes from the form of the frame itself. Seat cushioning is cold-moulded polyurethane foam with upholstery applied without adhesives.

• Automatic weight-responsive recline: Resistance is set from your bodyweight, not by hand

• Additional fine-tuning control: Adjust the automatic setting if you want it firmer or looser

• Upright lock and 3-position tilt limiter: Cap the recline range or lock the backrest upright
