Drumback Task Chair

A drum-back construction that behaves like neither a mesh chair nor an upholstered one – Drumback stretches mesh over a polypropylene back shell rather than across an open frame. The result combines the airflow of a mesh back with the structural stability of a solid one, in a single moulded form.

Certified for sustained, intensive use – On the Standard specification, Drumback carries BS 5459-2, the British Standard covering severe heavy-duty and 24-hour use seating. Both specifications carry a GS safety certificate to 110 kg. Its automatic synchro-mechanism responds to bodyweight without manual tension setting, with an additional fine-tuning control for those who want to override it.

• Additional fine-tuning control: Override the automatic setting if you prefer a firmer or looser recline

• 8-position height-adjustable backrest: Move the lumbar contact point up or down to meet your spine

• 6-position sliding seat: Set seat depth to your femur length and relieve pressure behind the knee
